Our chocolate is made from cacao beans sourced from six provinces in southern Vietnam: Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria, Tien Giang, and Ben Tre. Each region imparts its unique flavor characteristics to the beans, enriching the diversity of our single-origin chocolate bars.

Are you Fairtrade certified?

Marou Chocolate is not officially Fairtrade certified. We believe that our ethical and sustainable practices go beyond the standard Fairtrade requirements. That's why we have established our own label, "DOING GOOD & TASTING GOOD," which reflects our commitment to both exceptional quality and responsible sourcing.

Do you use organic ingredients?

While our focus is on high-quality, sustainable ingredients, our chocolates are not certified organic. We work closely with small-scale Vietnamese farmers who employ environmentally friendly practices, including diverse crop cultivation and minimal chemical use. This approach aligns with organic principles, but we prioritize direct support and fair pricing for farmers over the cost and process of organic certification.

Do Marou chocolate contain palm oil?

No, we do not contain palm oil. In our commitment to using locally sourced Vietnamese ingredients, we opt for coconut oil instead, aligning with our dedication to quality and regional authenticity.

How and where are Marou chocolates made?

We make our chocolates in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Our production process is a careful blend of traditional methods and modern techniques, beginning with sourcing the finest cacao beans from local Vietnamese farmers. Each step, from roasting the beans to the final packaging, is meticulously managed to ensure the highest quality in every chocolate bar we produce.

How long can I store my chocolates for? How should I store them?

To ensure the best quality and flavor, it's recommended to store our chocolates in a cool, dry place, ideally between 18°C and 24°C. Check our packaging for specific shelf-life details.

I have an allergy. Is Marou safe for me to eat?

If you have allergies, please refer to our packaging for allergen information. Despite our high production standards, the possibility of cross-contamination exists.

Do Marou chocolate is suitable for those with allergies, vegan, vegetarian, halal, kosher?

Our chocolates are generally suitable for vegetarians and many are vegan-friendly. We mainly avoid animal products, except for specific varieties containing dairy. Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, indeed! We provide free shipping for orders over 65€ within France and 120€ for other destinations in Europe. This free shipping automatically applies when you hit the minimum spend.

How long will it take to arrive if I order online?

We aim to process orders within 3-4 business days.

However, during busy times it might take up to a week. Thanks for your understanding! After shipping, expect your chocolate in 3-5 business days, although it can vary based on your location.

Generally, your treats should be with you within 7-10 days from ordering.
